UGO NESPOLO – Line Art

From the collaboration with the maestro Ugo Nespolo, the Green Art Design line was born, in which art and Ecodesign come together to create important artistic promotional projects in which the commitment turns to themes related to design, sustainability and to the social side. Ugo Nespolo in the 60s was part of the Galleria Schwarz in Milan which saw artists such as Duchamp, Picabia, Schwitters and Arman. His Milanese exhibition “Machines and Conditional Objects”, presented by Pierre Restany, anticipates the characteristic trends of the Arte Povera movement. The Pop climate lives in New York and the meeting with Yoko Ono, Jonas Mekas, Andy Warhol, P. Adams Sitney kicks off a large production of experimental films screened in major artistic centers (Centre Pompidou, Tate Modern, Venice Biennale). With Ben Vautier he gave life to the first Italian Concerto Fluxus. In 2019 the University of Turin awarded him the Honoris Causa Degree in Philosophy. He has exhibited in galleries and museums in Italy and all around the world.
